The GIF resizer sets a new width and height for every frame of an animated GIF and keeps the animation running. Keep the original aspect ratio and type one side, or switch the lock off and enter both, from 1 to 1600 px. When the new shape does not match the source, choose how to fit it: transparent padding keeps the whole picture and fills the gap, center crop fills the canvas and trims the edges. Two presets set the canvas to 128 by 128 for a Discord emoji and 112 by 112 for a Twitch emote.

Resize when only the dimensions need to change. If the file is still too heavy after resizing, the GIF Compressor cuts colors and frames as well.

Lock the ratio, type a width or height, and the tool works out the other side so nothing stretches.

Sizes, presets and limits of the browser GIF resizer.
A GIF resizer changes the pixel width and height of every frame in an animated GIF while keeping the motion. This one also lets you pad or crop when the new shape differs from the old one.
The Discord preset sets a square 128 by 128 emoji canvas. Use transparent padding to keep the whole image, then check the current upload rules Discord shows, since file size is set by the platform.
A Twitch emote starts with the 112 by 112 preset. Choose center crop if the subject fills the middle, or padding if it must stay whole, and confirm the platform rules before uploading.
Making the frames smaller usually lowers the file size, but resizing does not target a size in MB or KB. For a tighter file, run the result through the GIF Compressor, which also cuts colors and frames.
Shrinking keeps detail well, while enlarging a small GIF past its source size cannot add detail. The tool is not designed for upscaling, so start from the largest copy you have.
Resizing here is free with no account and no credits. A Web Worker in your browser does the resizing, and the processing step makes no network requests.
Inputs can be up to 20 MiB and 120 frames, up to 1600 px per side and 12 million pixels across all frames. The output can be up to 40 MiB, and each run is cut off after 60 seconds.
