Credits, plans, downloads and billing for the animate image studio
Each animate image run spends credits based on the model, resolution and length you choose, and heavier models cost more per clip. Credits come from your plan or from a Credit Pack.
The count depends on the models you use. Lighter models such as Kling V3 Turbo or Grok spend fewer credits per clip than Seedance 2.0 or Veo Quality, so the same plan stretches further on drafts.
Free covers 12 of the 18 models at up to 768P. Basic adds Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan 2.7 and Hailuo 2.3 Pro, 1080p output and downloads. Pro adds Veo Quality and 4K on Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0. Business adds commercial use.
Yes. Free-plan models such as Kling V3 Turbo, Wan 2.6 and Hailuo 2.3 Standard accept a source photo, and Hailuo 02 Pro and Veo Fast take start and end frames. Downloading the result starts on Basic.
The highest resolution is 768P on Free, 1080p on Basic and 4K on Pro and Business with Seedance 2.0 or Kling 3.0. Clips run up to 15 seconds on supported models; Grok and HappyHorse reach 15 seconds on every plan.
Free accounts can generate and preview clips, but downloading the video file starts on the Basic plan. Basic, Pro and Business all include downloads.
No. The six GIF tools run in your browser on every plan, need no account and do not spend credits. Your files stay on your device.
Credit Packs are one-time purchases valid for 365 days. They give Business-level access to every model in the animate image studio and stack with a subscription, where the higher tier applies.
You can buy a Credit Pack at any time, or wait for your next billing period to add plan credits. Subscription credits do not roll over between monthly periods.
You can change or cancel at any time in Settings, then Billing. After you cancel, your plan and its credits stay available until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
A refund can be requested within 7 days of a purchase if less than five percent of its credits were used; it covers the unused share minus a processing fee of five percent. A charge for a new billing period is not refunded once that period starts. Credits from failed generations come back automatically.

Commercial use is included with Business-level access: an active Business subscription or a Business credit pack. Videos made on Free, Basic or Pro without that access are for personal, non-commercial use.
